Songkran

Hello Everybody
Songkran is the Thai New Year. It is when people wash away the sins that people/kids have done. It is Songkran time right now.  At my school, we went to the gym (witch is outside) and there were about 15 teachers sitting on a bench with like a little palm tree gate with flowers on it. There are these big bowls with little cups in them. We take a cup and scoop it up with water. We walk over to where the teachers are and pour the water on there hands. That's what washes away the sins away. 
At the end of that day, a fire truck came over to the school and sprayed everyone with the water. Well not everyone because I didn't get want to get sprayed.
That's all I know about Songkran.
